After an early appearance in a film of Louis Feuillade, she had significant roles in films of Jean Epstein, including Cœur fidèle, and of Germaine Dulac. In Abel Gance's Napoléon, she took the part of Joséphine de Beauharnais, and then played the title role in Jacques Feyder's Thérèse Raquin (now lost). ...   After an early appearance in a film of Louis Feuillade, she had significant roles in films of Jean Epstein, including Cœur fidèle, and of Germaine Dulac.
