In the 1908 Summer Olympics in London he won a gold medal in Team Épée and a silver medal in Individual Épée. In the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp he won a silver medal in Individual Épée and a bronze medal in Team Épée. In the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris he won a gold medal in Team Épée.
