Germaine Berton (7 June 1902 – 6 July 1942) was a French metal worker, militant unionist, and anarchist.
On January 22, 1923, she was accused of murdering Marius Plateau, director of the French Action League. She wanted to assassinate Leon Daudet, one of the main political figures of Action Française, but had not managed to find him. She told the police that she wanted to avenge Jean Jaures, Miguel Almereyda and protest against the occupation of the Ruhr.
